About the Role
We're hiring a highly skilled, execution-strong Paid Google Ads Specialist with 5–7 years of hands-on Google Ads experience across North American service and e-commerce brands. This is a senior, performance-driven role designed for someone who can confidently own complex accounts, think strategically, and operate within tight, structured processes.
You will join our growing Paid Media team to architect, execute, and scale campaigns that deliver real business impact - qualified leads, profitable sales, and efficient growth. This is not a junior role and not suited for candidates whose experience is primarily international or outsourced/offshore.
We're looking for someone who understands the nuances of local consumer behaviour, competitive environments, and platform dynamics within North America because our clients depend on that level of market fluency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and launch high-performing Google Search campaigns aligned with specific business outcomes (lead gen, inbound demand capture, e-commerce revenue).
- Manage day-to-day execution across bidding strategies, audience layering, negative keyword frameworks, geo/device optimization, and conversion alignment.
- Monitor pacing, spend and KPIs to ensure consistent performance and budget accuracy.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and forecasting.
- Continuously optimize ads, extensions, bidding, and creative angles to drive stronger CPA/CPL and ROAS performance.
- Produce weekly analysis including insights, wins, trends, and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with Senior Media Buyers, Strategists, Creative, and Technical teams to deliver cohesive cross-channel execution.
- Leverage Google Analytics, conversion tracking, attribution models, and platform insights to inform decision-making.
- Support strategic audits, quarterly business reviews, and strategic planning deliverables.
- Maintain strong operational discipline across reporting workflows, checklists, Scoro task management, and Slack communication.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of local, hands-on Google Ads experience with North American service-based and e-commerce brands.
- Proven ability to manage/scale accounts with $10,000–$100,000+ monthly budgets.
- Demonstrated success optimizing for CPA, CPL, and ROAS across complex account structures.
- Deep expertise in search campaign architecture, audience segmentation + remarketing, conversion tracking, tag implementation, and QA, performance troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Strong analytical capability with an ability to interpret data and clearly communicate insights.
- Exceptional communication skills - verbal and written - with the ability to explain logic and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and operational excellence; able to follow structured processes, SOPs, QA steps, and reporting workflows.
- Must have experience working in North American time zones and with North American market dynamics.
- Self-starter mentality: proactive, accountable, and highly reliable in execution.
We will not be moving forward with candidates who:
- Have only junior-level experience
- Have primarily overseas/offshore Google Ads experience
- Cannot demonstrate strong North American market understanding
Nice to Have
- Agency experience in performance-focused environments.
- Google Ads certifications (Search, Display, Measurement).
- CRO, landing page or funnel optimization exposure.
- Familiarity with complementary platforms (Bing Ads, Meta Ads, Display ads, Amazon Ads).
Why Join Us
- Join a high-performance culture that values strategic thinking, rigorous execution, and measurable outcomes.
- Clear growth trajectory within the paid media function - this is a serious role with meaningful responsibility and visibility.
- Work collaboratively with senior strategists, technical specialists, and creatives.
- AI-enhanced workflows and automation tools to help you focus on strategy over admin.
- Team lunches every Thursday, quarterly events, competitive compensation (including bonuses), and full medical benefits after 3 months.
